In the following Imaging lesson, I went ahead with my digital design after approval from my drawing faculty to stick to the original concept of my zine- “The Creation of a Villain”. In this class, Jai Sir told us to lay importance upon the characteristics of the character and then drawing it after clearly defining the traits of the protagonist. I listed out the following traits for each stage of my character development and then drew out a few iteration sketches and a storyboard layout to supplement the same with backgrounds.
My first storyboard for my zine was drawn at a very small scale and that’s why I when I digitised it I realised that I had a lot of scaling issues and editing problems. I had planned to use the storyboards to print and digitise them on an a5 size photo paper. My storyboard did not have the proper impact as space was not used to it’s optimum and there was a lack in background and continuity of the digital and drawing style of my zine.
