In the following Drawing lesson, We began the first stage of our zine development. In this lesson, we were assigned to start building upon our character design. Here, I learnt the importance of having to iteratively develop my characters. Solange Ma’am wanted us to create at least 20 different iterations before progressing towards the creation of our thumbnails. I decided upon the concept of “The creation of a villain” for my zine. I began my character development by first trying to write down in point form each aspect of my character-age, characteristics, ethnicity, description, my inspirations and my references. Then I began sketching out the same trying to fit them in to buckets I had created.
