In the following Strategic Design Management Class, we were introduced to the basics of Trend Analysis. I for one understood the difference between a trend and a hype or a spike in the market demand, the difference between being a leader in the market and a dominator. I understood that trends are not industry-specific and can be applied to many industries and dictates the way we will design in the future.
