My Critical Reflections:
In the following Objects as History Class, I began recalling all that I had studied about world history during my fourth grade and revisiting it with fresh eyes and through a Designer’s perspective. Here I understood the fundamentals of why and how these civilizations were planned meticulously in order to foster it’s growth economically as well as socially.
I learned the importance of how small geographical features such as a river can impact generations of life and can give birth to society, culture, trade and life in general. It showed me that I should not take nature for granted and be grateful about the fact that such things we think are insignificant today, once were of a matter of survival for the entire human race.
