Work Instructed: In the following Time Class, We were instructed to start working on the our final videos that were to be presented in week 8.
Process: In today’s class, I started sourcing for videos on pexels and prelinger archives to fit the context of my narrative. I also began with sourcing for appropriate sounds and background music to go with the tonal theme of my video.
Critical Reflections: In today’s lecture, my leanings were both in terms of software skill as well as experience based design skill. I had a tough time trying to select appropriate music for my videos as some were fitting the context partially and some were just super off context. I had extracted audios from the videos on prelinger archives. This was a tedious and time consuming task to do as I had to go through audio clips of 2hrs to find about 10-15 seconds of audio that was fitting my narrative. Then I had to also edit video files down to only the clips that I had required. Here I made a few explorations and started playing around with video and image transitions and audio edtings. Throughout the class I had to consult with my faculty member Jai Sir with many different audio clips and video clips to make sure that it was working in coherence with my narrative.
